I cannot get through my day without pregna plan, I've taken it for the passed four years with all my pregnancies and through breastfeeding, it increases energy levels as I suffer from extreme fatigue and I am able to get through the day without needing an afternoon nap which used to be impossible. Highly recommend it to all mothers and anybody who suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome

Great vitamins but I was one short - there were only 59!

These are great in many ways but the iron is dangerously low for the prenatal vitamin as they contain only 11mg, well short of the 27mg commonly recommended for pregnancy. It’s hard to get this much iron from diet alone so these need to be supplemented with another iron pill to reach your requirements which kind defeats the purpose of a prenatal vitamin. Not sure why they don’t include the 27mg that is common. In our case this lead to my partner developing anaemia during pregnancy so beware this is only a starting point and does not cover all of your requirements. It also contains no DHA which is also fairly common in a prenatal now. We’ve also needed to supplement with more calcium and iodine.

Hi - thanks for your feedback. However, the form the iron is in the Pregna Plan equates to approximately 3 x the levels in a chemical compound version of iron, and is far better absorbed and so therefore more effective. The Pregna Plan levels of iron are very well tolerated and provide a good level of this nutrient in a form which is very well balanced and supportive. Best wishes Rachel

The service and purchase experience was great and I'm sure the ingredients work just fine. The only reason for the low rating is these are designed (apparently) for women who are pregnant yet these pills are HUGE, and you have to take 2 daily. Someone needs to re-think the size of these pills as they are not designed for someone experiencing nausea.. which will be most women! It is possible to cut them in half but they're still large and then they taste awful. I would not recommend.

These are HUGE! Difficult to swallow even when broken in 2.

Hi - they are slightly large tablets, but as you mention they can easily be broken in half, or even crushed between 2 teaspoons to make taking them easier. we have considered encapsulating rather than tableting but the nutrients would make the capsules either very large, or you would need to take a huge number to get the required level of nutrients.
