Doggie Be Calm is a natural, fast-acting and effective herbal supplement to help calm anxious, nervous or stressed dogs.
A calming supplement for dogs containing L-theanine, an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves. Unlike many amino acids that form part of proteins, L-theanine is a free amino acid, meaning it is not incorporated into protein structures but plays other important roles in the body. One of its key functions is serving as a precursor to certain neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) including GABA, a calming neurotransmitter that promotes relaxation. It also supports the production of alpha brain waves, which are associated with soothing the nervous system and reducing tension. This makes it an excellent choice for situations known to cause stress and anxiety in dogs, such as fireworks, storms, travel, or changes to the home environment. Because it is non-sedative, L-theanine can be safely given to your dog during the day or at night without causing drowsiness.
