High potency, bio-effective B12
Provided in the active forms, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, ready for the body to use.
Active forms
B12 supports energy metabolism and red blood cell formation, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Adenosylcobalamin plays a key role in mitochondrial energy production, while methylcobalamin supports healthy methylation, reducing homocysteine, and promotes cellular, nerve, and neurotransmitter health, including serotonin and melatonin.
Easy to swallow capsules
Simple, high potency one dose formulation.
About our Vitamin B12 supplement
Not all forms of vitamin B12 are equally effective at supporting B12 levels in the body. Our B12 supplement is provided in capsule form and contains the active, bioavailable forms - methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin to support optimal absorption, utilisation, and retention. Because these forms are already active, the body can use them efficiently without the need for conversion.
Benefits of vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 supports energy metabolism and red blood cell formation, reducing tiredness and fatigue. Adenosylcobalamin is particularly active as a cofactor in mitochondrial energy production. Methylcobalamin promotes healthy methylation, reducing homocysteine (a chemical linked to reduced cardiovascular and nerve function) and supporting cellular health, immune function, nerve cell structure and function, detoxification, and healthy neurotransmitter balance, including serotonin and melatonin.
Who might benefit from taking a B12 supplement?
People at particular risk of vitamin B12 deficiency include those eating a vegan or vegetarian diet, older adults, and people with low stomach acid or using medications that reduce it (e.g. antacids, proton pump inhibitors, blockers) or other digestive conditions which can lead to malabsorption (e.g., gastritis, Crohn’s, coeliac disease). People suffering from a condition called Pernicious Anaemia lack sufficient ‘Intrinsic Factor’ needed to bind and absorb B12 from foods are particularly susceptible to B12 deficiency and the resulting impact on reduced red blood cell formation.
Take 1 capsule daily with food, or as directed by a practitioner.

FAQ’s
Why have we switched from sublingual?
We've updated our vitamin B12 options to some simpler, purer options that better suit individual needs. We've now discontinued our sublingual tablets as we found that they were not always the easiest option for many people to use under the tongue and contained some tabletting additives we prefer to avoid. For a high strength option you can use our new simpler Vitamin B12 capsules. Research suggests that even if you have absorption issues like pernicious anaemia, a high dose swallowed and absorbed through the gut is shown to effectively increase B12 levels and correct a deficiency
Why have we discontinued hydroxocobalamin ?
We no longer provide a hydroxocobalamin option, as we consider the methyl and adenosyl to be the best more bio-effective forms. We have improved our sublingual delivery method saand now provide a sublingual spray

Is Methylcobalamin too stimulating?
There is some unreliable information in circulation that methyl B12 can be too stimulating (causing 'hypermethylation') which is why some people can opt for the hydroxoB12 form. However, there is no real evidence for this, nor does it make any sense in terms of how B12 is metabolised. As long as the dose is suited to your needs, methyl B12 should be a safe and effective form for everyone.
Do you have a sublingiual B12 option?
For our customers who prefer a sublingual (used under the tongue) option, we have now introduced a Vitamin B12 spray. Sprays are generally a more effective sublingual delivery method because they’re absorbed directly in the mouth and are easy to use. This is deliberately a lower dose (but still optimal) as you may well need less if used sublingually and the 1mg dose was excessive for some people's needs.
