High potency methyl donor complex for energy, heart health and methylation support. With the metabolically active forms of B vitamins including folic acid as methylfolate and B12 as methylcobalamin.
High strength complex of methylation-supportive nutrients.
Includes folic acid as methylfolate and B12 as methylcobalamin. Suitable for those with genetic variations.
Methylation is essential for energy and neurotransmitter production and converting homocysteine into methionine to support heart health.
Methyl Factors is a high potency complex formulated to provide key methyl donor nutrients in their metabolically active forms to support the body's natural methylation processes. These active B vitamins play a central role in supporting methylation, a natural biochemical process involved in all areas of health.
This is a targeted supplement to support the body's natural methylation processes and combines trimethylglycine (TMG) with vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, folic acid as methylfolate, vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, vitamin B2 as riboflavin-5-phosphate and vitamin B1 as thiamine HCl. Each of these nutrients donates methyl groups that support healthy gene expression, DNA repair, balanced homocysteine levels, cellular energy production and effective detoxification. Zinc is included as it is a crucial cofactor for many enzymes central to the methylation cycle.
Methylation plays a key role in converting homocysteine, a potentially harmful amino acid, into methionine to support healthy homocysteine levels and overall cardiovascular health.
One capsule daily with food as a food supplement as directed by a practitioner. We recommend this product should only be used under the guidance of a medical doctor or practitioner.

Trimethylglycine (TMG, also known as betaine), vitamin B1 (as thiamin Hcl), vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal-5-phosphate), zinc (as citrate), vitamin B2 (as riboflavin 5-phosphate), vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin), folic acid (as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate), brown rice flour, plant cellulose (capsule shell).
Vegetarians, vegans and people with Candida and yeast sensitivities.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this product. Long term daily use of 10mg or more of vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness.
Brown rice flour, plant cellulose (capsule shell).
GMO, wheat, soy, dairy, added sugar, flavourings & colourings.
Keep cool, dry & out of direct sunlight. One of the ingredients in this product attracts moisture, which over time will degrade it. When this happens it turns orange and goes hard. To avoid this, the product should be kept in the pot provided and the lid closed. These capsules should not be stored in daily pill boxes for longer than 48 hours.

Methylation is a natural process that happens in every cell of the body, where methyl groups are added to molecules like DNA, proteins and hormones to help them function properly. It plays a key role in gene expression, producing energy, processing toxins, supporting brain function and mood and keeping the heart healthy. For methylation to work well, the body needs certain nutrients, especially B vitamins in their active forms.
Methylated B vitamins are more effective for many people because they are provided in their active forms, meaning the body can use them immediately without requiring complex metabolic conversions. For many individuals, particularly those with enzyme inefficiencies, these conversions are slow or incomplete, which can limit effectiveness. Methylated forms bypass these steps, ensuring better absorption and utilisation. This is especially important for individuals with genetic variations, such as MTHFR mutations, that impair this conversion process.
Methylfolate (5-MTHF) - is the active form of folate needed for DNA synthesis and homocysteine metabolism. Unlike folic acid, it doesn’t require conversion, making it ideal for those with MTHFR variants.
Methylcobalamin is the active form of vitamin B12, essential for converting homocysteine to methionine and supporting nerve health and is more readily used by the body than synthetic cyanocobalamin.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P), the active form of vitamin B6, is required for neurotransmitter production and homocysteine breakdown and is effective even in individuals who can’t convert standard B6.
Riboflavin-5-phosphate, the active form of vitamin B2, supports the MTHFR enzyme and energy metabolism without needing conversion.
Trimethylglycine (TMG), also known as betaine, acts as a direct methyl donor through an alternative pathway and complements the action of B vitamins in lowering homocysteine. (TMG is not the same as betaine HCL.)
To support healthy methylation, aim to eat a nutrient-dense diet which focuses on foods rich in natural methyl donors such as folate from leafy greens and vitamin B12 from meat and eggs. Minerals like zinc and magnesium from nuts, seeds and legumes further support methylation pathways. Supplementing with active forms of B vitamins can be particularly beneficial, especially for those with genetic variations that impair methylation. Stress and poor sleep can place a heavy load on methylation pathways by depleting B vitamins and disrupting neurotransmitter balance. Managing both can help improve methylation.
Methyl Factors is suitable for individuals who need targeted support for methylation, including those with genetic variants such as MTHFR that reduce the body’s ability to process standard B vitamins. It’s ideal for people with elevated homocysteine levels, low energy, mood imbalances or increased detoxification needs, as well as those under chronic stress or with poor dietary intake of key nutrients.
