Our Organic White Willow bark supplement contains 100% pure botanical ingredients and has been certified organic by the Soil Association. As an organic product you can be assured the ingredients used are of the highest quality and totally free from pesticides, herbicides and other soil contaminants.

Each capsule provides 400mg of white willow bark and 7.5% active salicin.

What is white willow bark?

Native to Europe and Central Asia, white willow bark has a long history of traditional use as a natural pain remedy dating back over 5,000 years, and is still popular amongst herbalists today.

What are the benefits of white willow bark?

White willow bark contains an active ingredient known as salicin, which can be converted into salicylic acid within the body. Interestingly, this chemical is similar to that of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). Whilst aspirin as we know it today is chemically made, it is hardly surprising that white willow bark is often referred to as “herbal aspirin” or “natural aspirin”. However, the range of active ingredients within white willow bark provide a broader mechanism of action than aspirin, and are also gentler on the stomach.

Ingredients:

Organic white willow bark powder, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell).

Suggested Intake:

1-3 capsules daily, or as directed by a practitioner.

Suitable for:

Vegetarians, vegans and people with Candida and yeast sensitivities.

Contraindications:

Not suitable to be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are taking any prescribed medications, please consult with your doctor or practitioner before use.

Non-Active Ingredients:

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell).

Non GM & Free From:

GMO, wheat, soy, dairy & colourings.

Storage:

Keep cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.

For UK-delivered orders that are under £25.00, we charge a nominal postage and packing fee of £4.50. UK orders of £25.00 and over are DELIVERED FREE OF CHARGE. 

Dependent on weight, your order will either be sent by Royal Mail tracked service or via our nominated courier. A signature is required on receipt of the goods if delivered by our courier.
