About our Food State Iron Tablets

Food State Iron is presented to the body in a base of inactive Lactobacillus bulgaricus and is therefore a gentle, well absorbed supplement.

Our iron tablets also contain wholefood vitamin C from Acerola cherry, and molybdenum:

Vitamin C increases iron absorption.

Molybdenum forms part of the enzyme involved in iron utilisation.

Food State supplements provide vitamins and minerals in a food base of inactive Lactobacillus bulgaricus; a native and friendly bacterial inhabitant of the human digestive tract.

Vitamin C has been shown to enhance iron absorption. It captures non-heme iron and stores it in a form that can be more easily absorbed by the body.

Ingredients:

Inactivated Lactobacillus bulgaricus combined with iron, ascorbic acid & acerola extract (Malpighia emarginata) providing vitamin C, molybdenum (as sodium molybdate), ascorbyl palmitate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid.

Suggested Intake:

1-2 tablets daily as a food supplement or as directed by a practitioner.

Suitable for:

Vegetarians, vegans and people with Candida and yeast sensitivities.

Contraindications:

It is not recommended that men and post-menopausal women supplement with iron unless recommended to do so by a doctor or practitioner. Iron, if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children.

Non-Active Ingredients:

Ascorbyl palmitate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid.

Non GM & Free From:

GMO, wheat, soy, dairy, added sugar, colourings & flavourings.
