Our thyroid support formula includes the following nutrients:
L-tyrosine - is an amino acid used by the thyroid gland to produce thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). It is beneficial to have l-tyrosine and iodine together.
Organic kelp (iodine) - Seagreens® is an organic kelp, providing a natural source of iodine, which contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function. Studies demonstrate Seagreens® nutritional value to be higher than seaweeds of the same species from the same location. Research shows that the iodine from Seagreens® has a more prolonged and steady uptake within the body than potassium iodide, with no adverse effect on the thyroid gland.
