For years now, I’ve poured my heart into researching and developing a range of supplements crafted specifically for babies and toddlers. Feeding young children can feel like navigating a minefield - with conflicting advice, picky appetites, and the pressure to get it ‘right’ every day. And while no supplement can ever replace real food, variety and a balanced diet, these supplements can help complement the diet and offer parents some confidence and peace of mind along the way.

Attachment Optimum nutrition in early life is essential because it helps shape a child’s brain development, metabolism, immune system, and bone strength. These benefits aren’t just short-term, in fact early nutrition can have lasting effects on health that carry into adulthood.

Children’s bodies and brains grow rapidly, especially in the first five years of life. This growth requires a steady supply of essential vitamins and minerals like iron, iodine, zinc, vitamin A, and vitamin D - and sometimes supplementing can be supportive to ensure optimal levels for health. Let's talk supplements

Why are they important?

Modern diets and lifestyles mean that even with the best intentions, our little ones don’t always get all the nutrients they need.

Whether breastfed, weaning, or eating solids, gaps can happen, even formula can fall short.

We want to empower parents with simple, effective supplementation to support healthy growth and development.

Vitamin What does it do? Why take a supplement?
Vitamin D

• Supports healthy bone development and immune function.

• Helps the body absorb calcium.

Young children often don’t get enough sunlight to produce sufficient vitamin D naturally.

Vitamin A

• Essential for vision, immune defence, and healthy skin.

• Supports growth and development.

Modern diets can lack enough vitamin A–rich foods like liver, dairy, and leafy greens.

Vitamin C

• Boosts the immune system.

• Aids iron absorption.

• Helps maintain healthy skin and tissues.

Picky eating or limited fruit and veg intake can lead to low levels.

Iron

• Crucial for brain development and energy.

• Helps transport oxygen in the blood.

Iron deficiency is common in young children due to rapid growth, especially with low intake of iron-rich foods (e.g. red meat) or poor absorption.

Zinc

• Supports growth, wound healing, and immune function.

• Important for cell development.

The body doesn’t store zinc, so children must get it regularly through food; levels are often low due to modern diets, restricted eating habits, or poor appetite.

One Step Further

We're so pleased to have worked with Charlotte on the exciting journey of developing our new Children's Multivitamin and Mineral Drops. Every product we create is rooted in a commitment to our community, and with Charlotte’s partnership, we’re able to start that journey even earlier in life. We believe healthy living isn’t just for moments of crisis; it’s a lifelong approach.
