What is Gymnema sylvestre?

Gymnema sylvestre is a slow-growing, perennial, woody climber plant found in central and southern India and tropical Africa. In the Ayurvedic system, it is referred to as “Meshasringa” or “Gurmar”. The Hindu word “Gurmar” means ‘sugar destroyer’. This herb is thought to inhibit sugar absorption and has become a popular study subject in Western medicine.

Ingredients:

Gymnema sylvestre extract (providing 25% gymnemic acids), stoneground brown rice flour, natural rice extract, natural rice concentrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell).

Suggested Intake:

1 capsule up to 3 times daily, 10-15 minutes before food, or as directed by a practitioner.

Suitable for:

Vegetarians and vegans.

Contraindications:

Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are taking any prescribed medication, please seek medical advice before use.

Non-Active Ingredients:

Stoneground brown rice flour, natural rice extract, natural rice concentrate and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Non GM & Free From:

GMO, wheat, soy, dairy, flavourings & colourings.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place.

Dependent on weight, your order will either be sent by Royal Mail tracked service or via our nominated courier. A signature is required on receipt of the goods if delivered by our courier.
