Our immune system is designed to protect us against genuine threats to our health, such as bacteria, viruses and parasites. When this happens, the chemical histamine is released by mast cells, which are part of the immune system, resulting in uncomfortable symptoms such as itching, swelling, sneezing, and watery eyes.
What is quercetin?
Quercetin (Saphora japonica) is a natural flavonoid found in a range of fruits and vegetables with antioxidant and antihistamine properties. It helps to support mast cell stability, inhibiting them form releasing histamine, and ensuring a balanced immune response.
What are the benefits of liposomal quercetin?
Many quercetin products available are not liposomal and use large amounts of poorly absorbed quercetin. Is Quercetin Plus safe for kids?
Yes, this product can be taken by children ages 6 years and above at 1 capsule daily.
2 capsules daily with food, or as directed by a practitioner. Suitable for children from 6 years old at 1 capsule per day, and from 12 at 2 capsules per day.
