Vitamin C is an essential nutrient with wide-ranging benefits for health. As one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants, it helps protect cells from oxidative stress caused by inflammation, energy metabolism and environmental factors like pollution or UV exposure. It supports collagen and elastin production to maintain healthy skin, joints and connective tissue, helping to reduce visible signs of ageing. Vitamin C also strengthens the immune system, supports adrenal function and contributes to energy production.
Magnesium ascorbate is a buffered form of vitamin C. As vitamin C is naturally acidic, it can be buffered with a mineral to make it more pH neutral and better tolerated, especially when taking higher levels. It also has the advantage of being a bioavailable source of magnesium, helping to top up your daily levels of this vital mineral.
Take ¼ level teaspoon or 2.5ml (1.25g) twice daily or as directed by a practitioner.

Vitamin C is a vital nutrient with multiple body functions. It is one of nature's great antioxidants and protects the body's cells from 'oxidative stress' caused by inflammation, energy metabolism or external damage such as from chemical exposure or UV sun damage. It helps to preserve key body proteins like collagen and elastin, helping to maintain good connective tissue (joints/ligaments) and skin structure, reducing signs of ageing. It promotes immune system function, helping to fight infection. It helps cells produce energy and supports adrenal gland function (the body's stress shock absorbers), improving overall vitality.
Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid and is low pH/acidic in nature. This is not normally a problem, as it's a natural acid, but when taking high or regular doses, or if the stomach is easily irritated, ‘buffering’ the vitamin C to make it less acidic can help. Vitamin C buffered with a mineral such asmagnesium or calcium (forming a mineral ascorbate) helps to increase the pH and reduce the acidity, making it much better tolerated.
