The book explores the evidence that links the Nutrition Gap to the rise in chronic degenerative diseases in the Western world and looks at possible solutions to solving what is described as a ‘global epidemic’.

The term “Nutrition Gap” first came into use in the 1990’s as a way of describing the shortfall of essential nutrients that, for many reasons, was prevailing in the Western world.

Nutrient shortfalls are caused by multiple factors, and this means that most people are not getting the level of essential nutrients needed for health and protection on a daily basis. This deficit impacts adversely on both immediate and long-term health.
